I love my daughter. She's my only daughter and so precious to me. When I found out I was pregnant with twins, I hope for a boy and a girl. I already had 2 sons and I just knew that it would be really special to have just the one daughter. I knew it. And lo and behold... that's exactly how it turned out. 3 wonderful, strapping sons and my Jenni!
Today, I went to read her blog just to see what she's been up to and I was left gobsmacked and overwhelmed... I can't tell you about it.. you have to go read for yourself:

Gone With The Wind!
A day for staying in.. gale force winds hit most of the country today including West Yorkshire. It was pretty grim out there. The otherwise slow, calm canal was actually producing waves. Certainly something to see. If only those ducks, swans and geese could've got their surfboards out in time, they would've had a blast!
Apparantly Kent got it a lot worse and were affected by uprooted trees, fences blown down and roofs caving in or being ripped off. And all I wanted was a bit of snow this Winter. Still got a couple of months left so here's hoping!

Yep, more. More love, more art, more work, more rain, more movies, more happiness. My life seems to be full of an abundance of stuff.
Got more love in my heart than I know what to do with. For Steve, my children and my granddaughter. Lots of wonderful love in my life. I know I'm blessed.
As for work and art, I'm overwhelmed by all the ideas for new art I want to create as well as for new products both for 3d and my digital scrapbooking designs. Plus, Steve has uploaded a couple more of his images to our store that are now available as prints. My personal favourites are "Howdy Girl" and "An Unexpected Party".
Oh and yes, there's more rain. Rain, rain, rain. But that's to be expected. It's winter and I live in England! It actually doesn't bother me that much. As long as I don't have to go out. I can sit on the sofa, look out onto the canal and watch the ducks, swans and geese having a good ole time! Talking of the sofa, Steve and I don't have the tv tuned in so we only use it to watch dvds. And we usually watch a movie every night. We've also been watching Friends when we have our lunch. We joined the Tesco dvd rental club and it's really working out great for us. Much easier than going out to Blockbuster. Don't ya just love the internet?!

A New Year, A New Life
I love the hope of a New Year. And this New Year is even more hopeful and special. So much in my life has changed. And it's all good and very exciting. There are constant new challenges in regards to my work/career which keep me busy as well as the ongoing aspirations to create better digital art and do more photography. There still isn't enough hours in the day for everything I want to do and achieve.
So what's new? Steve and I have several new 3d products on the go as well as projects for creating art prints, new art works and to get our SteDi website up and running. And we have an exciting opportunity for creating content for a popular digital art magazine as well as having recently been invited to create products for Cornucopia 3D. I'm also creating various digital art products for the scrapbooking hobby industry working as a freelance designer for Scrap Girls.
On a personal level, we are still enjoying the wonders of living in the North of England in the beautiful county of West Yorkshire. We are surrounded by hills, a canal and a river as well as the most beautiful and quaint little villages. It's truly inspiring and the perfect place for artists! Although we love all the Seasons, we are now looking forward to the onset of Spring so we can get out and about a bit more and get some good texture photographs as well as enjoy the scenery.
